CricutDIVA Design Team Announcement

I am so happy to finally announce that I am starting up a CricutDIVA Design Team. But this won’t be just any design team … it will be a very active and involved design team with many members with varying degrees of experience.

cricutdiva

We will have helper bees to help the less-experienced team members and lots of helpful information. We will also have guest designers and angel designers to fill in if someone is unable to post as planned.

If you have never set up or published on a blog, don’t worry. We will be able to help you.

If you are chosen to be on the design team, you will be expected to prepare at least one blog post per month, but you can publish more often if you like, depending on availability.

Those of you who are on other design teams may participate as long as you can meet the commitments you sign up for on this design team.

If you would like to apply to be considered for the first 6-month term of the CricutDIVA Design Team, there will be certain requirements.

  1. You must have a blog. You cannot expect to be part of a design team that is based on members posting on their blogs if you don’t have a blog.
  2. You must have a Cricut machine. Any size or model is fine, but you must have a machine and cartridges to cut out your images. Having access to a Cricut may not be enough unless you can be absolutely sure that you will always be able to make the projects you need for your posts.
  3. You will be expected to follow a prescribed format for your posts.
  4. You will be expected to use clear pictures.
  5. You must be positive.
  6. You must have a helpful nature.

Submissions:

To be on the design team as a designer (layouts, cards or other types of projects):

–          Submit two projects that would be representative of the types of projects you would post as a design team member.

–          Follow the style of the post at https://cricutdivablog.wordpress.com/2012/12/12/22/ as an example.

To apply as a helper:

–          Describe what area you would like to help with (blog setup, blog design, blog posting, creative ideas, inspiration, Facebook page administration, etc.).

–          Tell me about your experience in this area.

Please send your submissions to:

  1. Hi Lori, it needs to be actual work mailed to me. This was suggested to me by many people because they had experiences of people applying with pictures that they had taken from other people’s blogs 😦

  2. Do the projects have to be made with a cricut? I have a bug, imagine, e2 and now a cameo and i’m being quite fond of my cameo! lol also-i will be mailing from FL…does it have to get to you by the 28th or post marked by then?

(i am in the process of switching over blog accounts…i was using wordpress and now and using blogger. You can see most of my stuff at wordpress http://www.crazy3monkeys.com)

  3. Yes, it is a CricutDIVA design team after all 🙂 Submissions must reach me by the deadline of February 28. BTW, your link does not work.

  4. suggestion: the stealing of others pictures could be avoided with a watermarked image on each designers work. This would eliminate the need for mailing in and less cost.

  5. You are not a manufacture, so sending our work does not seem to make sense. AND BIG manufactures don’t even require that, they review blogs, creative resumes, etc. This just seems to be an odd DT call requirement for a start up DT, How are we to know you are not going to take our projects and use them as your own? just sayin’.

  6. Nobody forces you to send something in. Many people know me and know that I have no need to use someone else’s projects as my own. Have a nice day.
